Any democracy's weakest as well as strongest pillar is voter.

Why did I say that voter is weakest link - because democracy is additive reflection of the voters mindset and if the mindset of voter is not healthy and not very visionary, so is its elected representative? Let’s take example of 163 criminal's selected as member of Indian parliament who have been elected so what does this reflect is that Indian voter doesn't care about their criminal background as they give them short benefits like liquor and many other short term benefit to the voters who are having hard time making their ends meet in such highly inflated prices and poor and they are not even responsible for this condition as the so called educated, well to do citizens never did anything for this downtrodden people . So what is the impact of this on overall democracy and on the other -non participatory citizens-?

1-Corruption- Elected reps invested so much money to win these elections so all the funding which comes from the government for their constituencies welfare goes to their own family/relatives welfare program for five years.

2- The policies these elected MP make are non-visionary, outdated, copied from other countries without giving any thought to Indian geographical/diverse nature of population and without taking into consideration of Indian society at large and its cultural values.

3-Slower reforms and slower development of the country.

4-Gonda raj

Overall - who is responsible for selection of these criminals and totally non-qualified for legislative job which needs the sharpest and the very honest mind of the country to formulate the legislation and policies to take the country forward - onus lies with all those educated, well to do citizens who don't participate in this election process and than blames the system -mainly middle class( you and me) - there is a very reason to blame middle class(You and me who is reading this article) because these are the same people who doesn't have enough resources to maintain their lifestyle without work/job for even a month and all these policies/legislation making hurts the middle class most as they have direct impact if not formed in a very innovative, visionary fashion. Someone might say why not the upper class- there is impact but very less as they can get their work done by these criminals by depositing bribes in Swiss banks , why do they need to worry about anything and we saw this in 2G scam . For upper class, world is a village, they can do business somewhere else too . Lower class is busy making ends meet so there is no question for them to think about all these serious issues which has far-reaching consequences.

Why voter is the strongest pillar ? For a simple reason if they participate -mainly the middle class citizens , there will be different set of elected members who can formulate the good policies, laws which are in sync with the 21st century needs. Middle class has enough time to educate the lower class to vote for the right candidate .

I will write my thoughts in next blog about what can be done to cleanse this electoral process and to educate the mass for selecting highly educated, accountable and socially responsible people .

Keep tuned in.

Experience about Indian consulate in US.

The most funny incident at Indian consular office, one of my friend went to renew his passport and they told him to get some Indian authorized /notarized document to renew his passport, this is height of stupidity anybody can expect from so called IAS/IFS officers , you don't treat older passport as a valid government document . Now how could somebody get a notarized document in USA from Indian authority except consular office or he goes back to India and get some document. I laugh whenever i remember this incident.
Kudos to Indian diplomats. We will still need 200 years to learn from other countries like work is worship which we preach to others but we cannot follow the same principle. We can teach meditation, yoga, brotherhood and many other golden things but we cannot or dont want to follow them in our own life. We are like half blind people who is running after western world and western world is trying to study good values from eastern culture like family relationships, non-materialistic life style.

SC verdict on Ramlila crackdown by Delhi Police

SC verdict on Ramlila crackdown by Delhi police seems to be a little unfair and twisted towards the actions of police and court seems to be little afraid of accusing and finding the real culprit behind the ordeal of this fiasco. Lets analyze the incident from a layman's perspective, court says that Delhi police is responsible for the midnight crackdown, but i fail to understand how could the lowest ranker of police force who is having hard time to meet his ends meet ,will take such decision,it is totally clear to anybody that these orders came from someone higher and if these orders came from higher ups, they should be been called for the clarity for this and someone should be held socially, morally responsible for this heinous act of crime on the freedom of speech ,freedom to dissent with other, freedom to rise against the injustice and all other freedoms granted by our constitution .

Lets for a second think that if police commissioner was responsible for such an act, he should be made to pay the full compensation to the victims out of his pocket so that they learn a lesson for future that they will not do such acts under any political pressure whatsoever ,why taxpayer has to suffer for some stupidity of the police commissioner. I think once police commissioner is asked for compensation and asked for truth ,he will tell the truth about who gave him order about this crime or put him in jail and we as nation don't need salves in all these responsible post which needs someone of high leadership skills, socially responsible person . I wonder if today all those freedom fighter who died for the freedom of this great country -what they will think about these acts of our own elected people.

All problems have one solutions i.e. go for voting and choose the responsible candidate for your constituency and ask him and keep him accountable for promises he makes to you .

It was a bad move by Gen V.K. Singh for DOB

It was a bad move by Gen V.K. Singh to go to court to solve this date of birth issue as Gen knew that court will never ever let all three pillars of Democracy get into the each others domain. Our legal system is more robust than our neighbours where army is too powerful but in our case ,its impossible. It is not good for democracy, these issues should be solved closed door as it relates to national security.

What do you think guys ?
